I do need to pen something new

...but my past has been speaking to me these days....
Can you believe it, I have not picked up a pen in four days...
Soon. In God's time.

Prospective

I walked off into the world when I was 15....
because I knew all i needed to know to survive.

At times i looked back, questioning my decisions on the road i chose to follow....
but going back to the fork seemed a waste of time...
so i moved on...
hoping eventually this road would either lead me to that unknown location...
What was I looking for?
My destiny...
God's destiny...
My happiness...
...and if not lead me there, then maybe offer a u-turn or circle back...
-take me back to the main deciding road so i can now make a left instead of that right.
But now, I've walked, circled and turned so many times...
i don't know if I'm even in the same state,
emotionally.

I walked off into the world when I was 15....

because I realized survival is not enough...
